Why don't movies post triggers.

I wanted to watch a good scary movie. So I selected one from Netflix. not even 5 fucking minutes and there's an UNNECESSARY rape scene. Why can't movies say if there's a rape scene. It makes me fuckkng angry.

Go on IMDB look up the movie go to the parents guide it'll tell you the inappropriate things.

It seems rape has been added to a lot of movies in the last decade like it's not obscene or heinous. It bothers me too, I feel you on that.

IMDB parental guide!! They tell you sex/drugs/alcohol/disturbing scenes/graphic violence... All of that :)

I agree. I haaaaate graphic rape scenes. They don't leave my head for days, weeks, years. The rape scene at the end of The Brown Bunny (worst movie ever, btw) has not left my head since since 2003.

There's a website that gives you a break down of what happens on TV shows and movies. Typically used for parenting purposes. I think it's commonsense.org
