Anyone who's husband is in the service ?

Hey ladies! So I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation with their pregnancy. My husband is going to be in another state for training with the Navy for the last 5 months of my pregnancy. I am starting to really get nervous at the thought of doing so much on my own during that time. Yes I'll have a few close friends and my mother in the same town but they all have really busy schedules. Any women out there who have been in the same situation and had to go through their pregnancy without their spouse?

We have 5 children and are currently pregnant with #6. My husband missed 4 of the births and was deployed for nearly all of them except for the last one. Try to find a mom group with supportive moms so it will make the time go by faster and you'll have someone to talk to :)

You would be surprised are strong you really are when you have to go at it alone. We were in a completely different country for two of them and I never ever thought I could do it. I look back at it now and think " Gosh, I accomplished what I thought I couldn't. "

I did it better than I ever dreamed possible. I know you can do it too ❤️ good luck with everything! It's not a scary as everyone makes it out to be. You've totally got this!

My first marriage I went through my pregnancy alone he was deployed most of it and when he returned you might as well say I was still alone, things never were right after that(divorce).  Then I got remarried and he was deployed but made it home in time for the birth of my 3rd daughter even though he was only on leave he made the most of those 2 weeks with us and when he returned  4 months later he was still supportive and picked up where he left off.  I'm happy to say next month 10/20 will make 5 years being married and he is still as supportive to all my girls.  Retiring from the military helped.  With God on your side you will do just fine and if you have a good supporting spouse it will be like he never left.  Don't stress about it and enjoy the time you do have together.

My husband was sent to Germany the day after we had my daughter he missed my whole pregnancy came home for a week and was shipped out. It was really hard but we'll worth it. We are TTC #2 so he will be home the whole time :)

I am with a guy that is in the service. In always worried that if we get pregnant he won't be able to be there for our child birth. He got deployed a few months this summer. It's hard to go thru. Just keep in mind next time u see hI'm. Think one day of not seeing him is a closer day to seeing him

I'm currently 27 weeks 5 days with our second child. My husband has been away at ait since 11 weeks. He changed his MOS after we found out I was pregnant & he reenlisted. I went back to Michigan to be with family for the time being. He's in Georgia & graduates next week. So I'll be going home a few days before he does. It helped pass the time & it was great seeing family. We move to Texas November & I'm due December. I'm glad I went home, but if I hadn't I would of just spent time with the friends I had made in the four years of being in one spot.
