Birth Control or No Birth Control is the question?

So my boyfriend  asked me a few months  ago yo come off birth control cause he wants me to be around forever and he is scared i may get  cancer  later in life.  I thought it was cute to  think of  my life when considering  and wanting  to grow  old  with me but i wonder if coming  off birth control was the right thing to do. its so helpful  for wild or love making nights.
so we are  back  to condoms ... not going  to lie i do not miss mood swings tho

Where is he getting the idea that BC will cause cancer? Studies have actually proven that BC reduces the risk of ovarian cancer which is the most deadly because it's so hard to catch in the early stages. I think something like that is a time when you need to take him to the Dr with you and have your healthcare provider answer his questions.

I think it was a good choice. From a personal experience, birth control has given me many problems in the past, I have had to change constantly and had developed migraines and cyts on my ovaries.  I took it every day before I went to bed like clockwork and still got pregnant. I stopped it immediately and still miscarried at 4 weeks. My husband asked if we could just use condoms and I agreed. Since I have been off I feel like a new person. Very rare headaches, doc says everything looks normal...down there...and I'm just a happier person. If you don't have to be on it for medical reasons...dont.

I think it depends on a few things: do you believe life starts at conception? If so, there's a lot of moral things wrong with BC. Look into exactly how it works scientifically, and you'll find those hormones working extra hard to kill a fertilized egg.

I've used condoms in the past, but I don't plan to again. When my boyfriend and I get married (we're waiting til then to have sex), we're going to do natural family planning. It's our belief that sex is pleasurable but it's purpose is NOT solely for pleasure. It has consequences, right? Sex is meant for pregnancy! But the fascinating thing is that there's only a small window of time each month when you can get pregnant, you just have to know when that is. I think it's a really beautiful and empowering thug to know your body like this--to know exactly what's going on on the inside and when you are / are not fertile. It definitely takes some self control, but I think it's worth it. (Because on those fertile days you won't be able to have intercourse but you know there are plenty of other things you can do to have a good time.) It's definitely a personal conviction and commitment, but we are both really excited to start this together. I'm even starting it now, using Glow to track my BBT and ovulation cycle so I can get in the rhythm of it by the time we're married.

I also had health issues from hormonal birth control and would never ever go back to it. 
I tried the copper coil since , have used natural family planning , and non hormonal barrier methods. 
After I have had my twins my partner will get a vasectomy because we are done with children.
Hormonal contraception isn't for everyone and doesn't agree with everyone ...
