Tanning while pregnant?

Forget the skin cancer risks... let's talk potential risk to baby. Doctor says he can't recommend it but that scientifically the UV rays cannot damage a baby. However, body temp cannot get too high so staying cool is a must.

Anyone have any experiences?

I wouldn't risk it. Not over tanning lol. My baby is more important than getting my skin darker!

During pregnancy your skin will absorb more uv rays causing sunburns and overheating can harm baby.

Your skin is more sensitive during pregnancy and tanning booths get too hot. Can't sauna or jacuzzi either :/

Not supposed to tan while pregnant. It raises your temp which raises baby's temp.
