Is it true that acne appears when...?

Is it true that acne appears when you don't have sex? My cousins and I have been discussing this for a long time now, and I don't believe that this is true so I want to know from you guys.

My husband is away at military training & my face hasn't been this clear in forever so I'd have to so no that lack of sex doesn't contribute towards acne lol but that's just me.

Never heard that one I get acne from hormones or atleast that's what I believe bc I only get acne around pms week or when I'm pregnant it also is caused from stress or atleast I only get acne when I'm stressed or hormonal

Back in the day when I had acne my friends younger uncle would say that I have needy bumps, because I needed sex to make my pimples go away, I know stupidest thing ever but I did hear of that

I've never heard of getting acne from not having sex? I don't think it's true, I mean, that just sound strange to me. I can personally say that I only get acne before and during my period. I eat chocolate and greasy food and I've never gotten acne except around my period. But anyways, it could be from being sexual frustrated, or stress in general. Where did you guys hear that from?

No, not from lack of sex..... but there could be a hormone related correlation. If your sex drive is low, it's usually due to hormones. Those same hormones can cause acne.
