I understand I'm an Aunt to my 1 year old niece. But when did I become secondary parent to my niece. My brother the mother of my niece created my niece. I had no part in that.
I have a boyfriend and job. Why can't I enjoy having that. When I do not want my niece calling me mommy or some formation of parental name. I love her yet again I didn't not create her, so I could be changing diapers, washing her at night. While I stay at my parents house and while my brother does his part but I am not the parent
