I think it's great! I've been to one and it was very exciting! It's a great way to bond with your family and friends during your pregnancy and it helps break up those long nine months!

We're not telling anyone except the 3 sets Godparents, then at the 1 month old mark we'll host a party then and have everyone participate in the Viking blessing & formal naming ceremony of the child.

That way the "whole village" can spiritually and physically surround our baby with love.

We had one for my daughter. :) It was a very exciting time and we enjoyed being able to tell everyone at once :)

We did one. My family loves any excuse to get together and party and we thought it would be fun for all of us to find out together. My brother was the only one who knew what we were having. It was a blast!

I'll be having one! We didn't with my son because we were really busy at the time and friends/family have a hard time traveling to us. He was stillborn at 22 weeks and I regretted not getting to celebrate every step of his previous life! We're planning to have our party in November
