How long after a miscarriage did it take for your period to arrive? I miscarried last month and we want to start trying again but have heard its best to wait for a period first.

it took nearly 6 weeks, felt like an eternity! if it takes longer than 8 weeks, you should book a doc appointment because they will want to check if anything is left over from the miscarriage that is causing your body to basically go nowhere. good luck!

I had a D&C on June 20 and got my period on July 17. That's about 28days I guess. You should get your period between 4&6 weeks provided there were no complications with your MC. Also it matters if your decided to go natural with your mc or if you had your uterus evacuated.
