Sensitivity of a test and twins?!

Question

Can a pregnancy test be negative when you're pregnant with twins? Depending on the sensitivity of the test?

I go for an ultrasound today but I my frer are light positives and my Wondfo are negative:l/ very very very faint positives.

I agree with Kendra. Hpt's are qualitive so if you have a 10miu test and your level is this or higher it will show up. Regardless of how many. Some ppl have high hcg with singletones just like some multiples have normal hcg levels. 
I was curious if my darker tests before AF might hint at twins as I had a strong feeling before hpt I was having twins. It seems to not particularly mean either.

I'm going to go with no for two reasons one I had a faint but def positive at just 7 dpo with my twins and two hormone levels are double with twins so there's no way it's not going to show up on a hpt
