Is bassinet sufficient?

Hey ladies, I bought a bassinet for my baby, is it enough for starting few months ? Or I should buy a crib too ??

You should be good for a few months. With my 2nd I never bought a crib I just used a pack and play until she started to climb out of it around the age of 2.

I read that if you use a bassinet they are good to use until baby rolls over. Then it is unsafe.

I'm going to start off with a bassinet in our room. I guess I stayed in one until I was nearly a year, so I'm going to play it by ear when she's starting to get too big for it and need a crib.

Im going to buy both. I think the bassinet is a good idea for the first couple months so u can keep it right by ur bed

We have both. Baby sleeps in bassinet until 4-5 months or when they grow out of it then we put baby in crib

I have a crib that transforms into a toddler bed. I think that's the best value you can get. I'd say you don't really need a bassinet at all. In my opinion, they're just cute luxuries to have that aren't really necessary, especially if you're going to eventually buy a crib.
