Who has signed up for birthing classes? I signed up through our hospital (4 weeks, once a week) and heard its good, but am wondering if I should also sign up for a Birthing from Within class (5 weeks, once a week). Is self study/reading/watching online videos equivalent to an actual class? Not sure I want to spend an extra four hours a week (including driving time) and $440 on the second birthing class series, but a friend who just gave birth recommended it was a good idea, and my OB suggested supplementing the hospital course with something else.. I'm a first time mom and don't want to be underprepared... Please share your experiences!
