High Platelet count

13 weeks, everything is fine with the baby but my blood work came back and they said my platelet levels were higher than normal. Did anybody else have this with their bloodwork results? I think I may be worried more than I should be. They want to retest my blood. I had an infection when I went to get the original bloodwork done and I don't know if that could have been a factor.
