Trigger Shot

Ok, my husband and I just watched the instruction video for the IVF trigger shot, and all I can say is what. the. hell?!?!? I have to do an intramuscular shot in the butt and the needle is humongous, and they said to jab it in like a dart! My husband and I were both shocked, it looks so unbelievably painful!!! Is it really that bad? It also said if you draw back blood you have to redo the whole thing! I have been having a tough time with the shots (I just started 3 days ago and I know it will just get worse), but the trigger shot just seems like insanity! I will be doing Novarel. Any comments are appreciated, it just looks horrible!
