Major ups and down
My sister-in-law and I are four weeks apart in our pregnancys. She is due February 28 and I'm due March 29. We both had ultra sounds done today. Hers was the full body scan, mine was to make sure my cervix is long enough because I had a LEEP about five years ago.
We both found out we're having girls! Yay! She already has a little boy. I really wanted a girl.
Then she was told that her baby girl's heart is on the wrong side of the body. And the baby will have to have surgery after she's born.
Their first baby was born at 29 weeks and spent 90 days in the hospital. I was just hoping we could have this wonderful time having the two babies together. And how it's looking now they are headed for months of hardship and heartache.
