Sensitive nipples...why?

Question

I've had super sensitive nipples for 12 days. It started two days after I ovulated. They get hard as soon as I take off my bra and while I'm in the shower. I'm spotting a little today, so I'm assuming AF will show this weekend.

If I'm not pregnant, what reason would there be for my nipples to be so sensitive? This is not normal for me.

My husband knew I was pregnant before I tested because my nipples were super sore. It was probably my first sign of pregnancy. I also thought I was getting my period. I let the soreness go for 2 weeks before I finally tested. And what do ya know, I was pregnant! That ended in MC so we're on our way to trying right now. AF ended today!
