So my sons teacher thinks my son has ADHD so we went to the DR and gave us 2 questionnaires 1 for parents and one for teacher and that is how they diagnosis it based on how dr reads them, nothing else. She immediately started trying to push Ritalin which is a class 2 narcotic(codine, morphine) and it's a phetamine which in pure form is a methanphetamine. So they want to put my kid on something that's that strong that has side effects similar to Coke before trying anything else based on 2 pieces of paper. Btw they just approved codine for minors but Ritalin is fine? Please advise on other methods because I would really like meds to be last. I'm even curious about marijuana usage. It's not legal in my state yet but hoping by nov. thank. Would love to hear others stories.
