Well my September bump turned into a October baby!
Sorry it's a long one.
Well Thursday I had appointment at 40.4 weeks. I've been having blood pressure issues for many many many weeks, well last week there was protein but the blood pressure was acceptable. It all changed I had protein and my blood pressure was way up. So one on Thursday they for my induction started from a fingertip dilated like I've been for weeks. At noon on Friday I was only 1cm, baby had some heart rate issues through out the night, they tried the folley bulb which in under a hour I was 3cm and 70% effaced, she stretched me to four and my water broke. That's when she discovered her head was far bigger then my pelvis, well I decided to try natural anyways. Four hours later lots of pitocin, I did not budge a bit and I was having regular contractions, they didn't really hurt me, but I was still the same 4cm and 70% effaced, head still stuck above cervix. I threw in towel, my mom needed sections so I always felt deep down I too would end up there. Thank the dear lord I chose that route, turns out my labor would have turned deadly, or very dangerous resulting in an emergency. The cord was exceptionally long and tightly wrapped around her little next THREE times! Took her a while but she got color back and is completely safe and healthy.
Welcome Alessandra Grace born 5:50pm 10/2 weighing 7lb 5oz and 20.5 in long.
