Wisdom teeth removed while PG?

Can you get your wisdom teeth surgically removed while pregnant? I know you can get teeth extracted while pregnant but what about wisdom teeth if they are not grown in yet?

Yes you can. I'm a dental hygienist. Usually whenever we have a pregnant patient that needs a tooth pulled, we will refer them to have it done at the oral surgeons (because they are an MD also) if they are infected or causing pain. However, if it is not necessary, (which, if they are impacted, it probably isn't emergent) they probably will wait until after you have the baby.

It depends on how far you are and if they actually put you under. They don't like to use anesthesia during early pregnancy.
