How long did you wait to have sex after birth?

Just curious how many women actually wait the "6 weeks" after birth to have sex. I see some only wait a couple weeks and some that are literally counting down days to 6 weeks. Why did you choose the time length you did?

I had a c section a week and a half ago. As soon as this bleeding stops I'm jumping my husband. Hopefully it's soon. I'm going nuts.

4 weeks. Worst decision. I had to wait another 4+ weeks at least because I was so scared.

You're supposed to wait 6 weeks. We did it at almost 4 weeks because I felt ok. I had a vaginal birth, second degree episiotomy.

5 weeks. The bleeding had stopped around 4 weeks and I felt fine. Had a vaginal delivery with minimal tearing. It hurt/wasn't comfortable again for another month, it seemed. But it wasn't terrible.

6 weeks is the minimum. I had a medi tear and still wasnt 100% healed by 6 weeks. Having sex to soon cam cause problems late in life too.

I waited for the entire 6 weeks but even then it was too painful to have full on intercourse. Lol. It took about 8 weeks to ease On The comfort.
