Opinions needed

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since May. I was supposed to start my cycle on Thursday I had very little dark brown discharge on Thursday. Friday morning I felt as if I was about to start so my husband and I had intercourse to jumpstart my period. I had a little blood immediately afterwards but nothing after that. I've tested negative on home pregnancy tests. My breast a tender. Is there anyway I could possibly be pregnant. My period has been consistent since I had my IUD removed in March.
