Seriously?

I am reading some of these names and cannot believe some mamas would be okay with their children growing up with these names.

I agree, I feel bad for those kids.  I also feel bad for people who name their kids something that sounds normal but had ridiculous spelling.

There are so many factors to naming a child, traditions, location, personal meaning, etc... What seems normal or beautiful to one may not to another. That's ok since that is the beauty of individuality! How boring would it be if we all had similar names.

fair enough, your opinion. but everyone thinks differently and has the right to name their children whatever they want (within reason of course) as long as a child has a happy and healthy environment to grow in, why should the name big a big deal?!

Thing is, the way your name is spelled, Kortni, is unique but also easy to identify and pronounce because of how it's spelled. I just think that if you go with a different spelling, you should consider how people are going to naturally read it.
