I started my period when I was 15. My periods have been so out of wack I've never saw regular timing. I have had maybe 6 periods in 8 years. I'm 23 now. I never told my mom until recently, I would always lie and say I was on my period so she wouldn't question me or take me to the doctor (because I was sexually active with my current fiancé, we've been together going on 9 years) so i lied my whole teenage life about my menstration. So I would have a period go 6 months with out, have one go a year with out, have one and go two years with out. I had a very stressful time period in 2012 and I was on my period for nearly a month, bleeding heavy! Just last month I had one first in 3 years. It lasted 7 days. I went to the doctor back in June? It was my first ever and I had a pap done, because I am self pay they wanted me to have insurance for further testing (bloodwork, ultrasounds, etc.) my fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for at least 2 years. I know it's me, I just don't know how to get all of this figured out. I know there's nothing more to do than to get tested and figure this out but it's just so overwhelming. I want nothing more than a family, give my fiancé the chance to be the wonderful father I know he will be.
