TTC and vitex

Hi!

I have been trying for a little over a month. No issues to report except I have irregular periods with cycles between 35-45 days. Started taking vitex August 11th and 3 days later got my period. Here is what my cycles looked like

July 5-9 AF cramping

August 14-17 AF (started vitex on August 11)

September 12-16 AF no cramping at all

September 29-Oct 3 AF cramping

Then October 3rd and 4th which is CD5 and CD6 I got solid smiley on my opk for high peak. We obviously dtd yesterday. Just confused as to why so early into my cycle and not sure why I got my period again 2 weeks after September 12.
