What to do friction burn?

I fell down like 4 steps the other day on my but and drug my elbow on atleast 2 of them I have a nice friction burn that's bothering the crap out of me. What should I do to help it heal and stop stinging off and on?

Clean it with hydrogen peroxide ONCE (it kills good and bad bacteria each time you use it and you want the good bacteria to help the rug burn heal) and then soap and water every time you're in the shower.

Put Neosporin, Vaseline, or Aquaphor onto the rug burn

Put on a bandage. Make sure the adhesive part doesn't stick on the Aquaphor/Vaseline/Neosporin

Change the bandage DAILY.

*Remember each time you're in the shower take the bandage off, wash the rug burn, and replace the bandage!*

You can put poly and a band aid on it. Give it a bit of moisture till the skin starts to seal up. So you can put the poly on and then when your showering and for say a couple hours afterwards leave it open so the skin will firm up and start to heal and when you go to bed or are wearing/doing something to irritate it cover it.

You can buy rescue cream at a health store. It helps speed up the healing twice as fast.

Neosporin and band aid. Every 6 hours or so take the band aid off to give it some air. It'll eventually scab over.
