My job requires me to drive up to an hour away from my hospital. Wednesday I'm two hours away 😣 I'm 31 weeks and wondering when I should tell my employer I need to stay local to stay close to my hospital? I was thinking 34 weeks. My Doula said it's hard to say.

Whatever eases your mind, because stress isn't good for the baby and a calm mama is a happy baby.

I'd say 32 wks...but that's just me.

I don't think you need to.  An hour isn't really that far and nothing crazy generally happens in an hour during labor unless you somehow didn't know you were in the early stages. The labor process lasts a good while.

I wouldn't till 34-36 weeks to tell them.
