Response to teen mom post
Well said girlie on the teen mom.post about judgmental momma on here! (Sorry so long) but I am 28 yrs old, married (now) and pregnant with my 3rd baby. My 12 yr old son Michael was born when I was 15, I got a lot of shit for it, and still get the looks and comments because people can't understand how I have a teenage son lol. I was very irresponsible as a teen and thought I "wanted a baby" was from a very messed up childhood and thought it was what I needed to be happy. And he did make me happy! It wasn't always easy- nor did I always make the right choices after i had him, but you know what?! I loved that little boy, have always given him what he needs somehow, and mistakes aside i think we are all doing pretty damn good now in life! It wasn't the way most people would've gone about things, and people are always going to have something to say no matter what- but screw them all! Your at least a little older, you are technically an adult. For those moms that fell this way as well as your self- know you have a friend here, a very EXPIRIENCED previous teen mom, and although I may not have ALL the answers... I know plenty and probably more than some of the other older first time moms (no offense to anyone of course) and I am also a very good listener with no judgments.
