Ultrasound??

Question

When you go to get a pregnancy confirmed by a doctor if you request an ultrasound will they give you it?

They will do blood work before they will do an ultrasound. Couple of blood draws then the US comes.

Mine is blood work on my request then a ultrasound! Then some more blood work I’m a high risk as well but peanut my little baby looked fine and on the right track. So I go back 14th of this month which then I will be 6 weeks 5days

My first dr appt at 11 weeks. No ultrasound, she scheduled me for one a week later

It depends. If this is your first pregnancy they'll probably just do a blood draw. If you have a history of miscarriages then they'll probably schedule an ultrasound. Most doctors won't do an ultrasound unless your at least 6-7 weeks along because they may not be able to see anything or see a heartbeat which adds uneeded stress for the mom

For me, they did blood work first, then the next appt was an ultrasound around 11 weeks. If they do it too early you may not see anything, which just freaks people out for no reason.
