Nervous about a guy

I'm 16 and I'm in a weird situation with a German guy I met through sporting events abroad. We have both said to each other that we love each other but obviously at this age I can't really just get in a car and go visit and we only see each other 4 times ish a year when we meet when we compete together- so we are not in an official "relationship" as such. He is coming to visit in December and I'm so nervous that with it being him me and my parents at home it will be awkward and I will waste the time we have together being shy! Does anyone have any tips? Or ideas as to cute things we could go do together? He's never been to the UK before :)
