I'm 15 and I'm going out with an 18 year old, I love him so much and I never really think about the age difference between us, but sometimes I do and it tends to bug me... Opinions?💎💜

I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 20, we have been together for 3 years, my maturity level is way past majority people my age so I feel like that has a lot to do with us getting along so well and being happy together. My parents are 8 years apart, when you really think about it, age difference doesn't matter when you get older, people just don't pay attention to it, it just seems more dramatic and unusual while you're young. If there is a great relationship and first of all a great friendship basis and yall are happy, no one should make you feel like you shouldn't be together. Best of luck!

im 19 an my hubby is 28 to me age doesnt matter but to others it does  my family had no problem with it my dad was a little  sceptical abt irmt cause i was 18 an he was 27 but as he got to no my husband my dad an family approve actually my dad an him are close now

age difference doesn't necessarily matter but when you're younger you're influenced easily so it's pretty simple for older guys or girls to take advantage. if you are in a relationship with an older guy you should recognise if he's being a bit possessive, pushy or perverted basically. keep communication with your parents and friends strong so you have someone to talk to if you think he's taking advantage but I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.

I'm 17 (turning 18 in Jan) & my boyfriend is 21 (turning 22 next week), and I don't see anything wrong with our age & neither does our parents. Both of families are accustomed to dating with an age gap since he's African and I'm Haitian. As long as he's with you for the right reasons I say keep doing your thing and make sure your parents are 100% okay with your relationship if you guys think of having sex in the future.
