Boyfriend or not?

So my boyfriend and I had been together for 2 years when he dumped me in February. We were apart fr 5 months and all I could ever think of and dream about was getting back together and how perfect it would be if we could work out all our issues. Well after 5 months he asked me out again and I said yes. The issue is that now I live in New Orleans and he lives 6 hours away in Texas. I never see him and we never get to talk. It's not anything near what I expected and I'm so used to being single that I don't even know how to function in this kind of relationship. We will be long distance for at least 2 more years. Is this really worth it or should we call it quits while we are ahead? He is studying to be a cop and I'm working on my masters in music. I feel like now a relationship is more of a distraction than a good thing
