Scared to make it

I am currently 37+2weeks. I went to docs yesterday, I'm 60% effaced and 1 cm dilated. Today I started getting menstrual cramping and tightening. They are occurring about 3-7 mins apart and last about 45-60 seconds. I don't want to jump the gun but I'm scared if I wait then I may not make to hospital. Suggestions???
