Very confused

I don't feel like I'm getting a lot of information from my doctor. I went in for a general Gyn appointment and was told I might be pregnant. Doc ordered a blood test to confirm and it came back positive with my HCG at 24. He said this was very low and ordered another test for 3 days later. I just got the results of my second HCG and it was only at 37. I am not having any spotting or bleeding or even any cramping. Doc is having me go in for another blood test tomorrow. I don't know if I should be worried or what is going on. I am about 5w2days. Any advice would be great. This is my first pregnancy.
