What's the meanest thing someone has said to you regarding ttc?

I can't be the only one where I've been told such mean things! People are so hurtful.

I've been told that I wouldn't be a good mom and that my kids would be sent off and I'd lose them when that's not the case at all I'd do anything for my kids and I'd love them like more than life itself, the person that told me this honestly I think was mad that she wasn't able to have anymore kids cause of her age and she just wanted to take a shot at me and upset me because she couldn't and can't stand the thought of me being happy!!! Let's just say she really upset me and I cried for a while because of it but I brushed it off and didn't let it break me cause I'm still TTC I just hope after AF stops that this is my cycle for it to happen I really want to be a mom it's my biggest dream!!! I hate when people say things like "when are you going to have a baby?" Or "so and so has a baby, where's yours?" (My mom saya this allll the time) It's super hurtful because we've been trying for a while. Gah just sooo insensitive! >:(

I've been told I dont need anymore kids. I have two girls 6 and 9 we are ttc a boy. I also have been told I couldn't handle 3 kids and why should I bother having another because my husband can only have girls which doesn't make any sense to me. Family told me " you have two you don't need anymore"

My land lord is the check out/appointment scheduler at my obgyn. She tells me every wk especially if she sees me in the office that I can't be stupid enough to want another kid when I can't take care of the ones I have! Yes we are currently struggling to pay our bills . But everyone struggles and I believe a strong family is full of love and attention not how much money we have or what material things we have . My God will provide for me! I wish she didn't wrk there! I don't want a different dr bc he's the best in the area and delivered my 1st child !

It wasn't directly towards me, but I know a lot of people my age who are either having their babies now or are just getting pregnant. A few of my friends harp on them, say how "gross" it is (a lot of them aren't "baby" people, per se), and generally just have something negative to say about them. Makes me wonder if I should even tell them my husband and I are trying or if I'd even tell them at all and just have them figure it out on their own. 😳

Last year my husband and I wanted to take in my little nephew. He was 15 at the time and lived with his mom. Well her other 2 daughters had already moved out and she only had her son left. She was over the whole parenting thing and was ready for him to be out also. So she pawned him off on his father. He got bounced back and forth, no one wanted him. He was out of school for over 6 months and was being neglected in more ways than one. We wanted to give him a consistant childhood and hope for a future. We fought long to get him to come stay with us until His mother (which is an ex inlaw) told me, the only reason you want him so bad is because you can't have you're own kids and the kids you do have aren't even yours. They're another woman's children.... needless to say she cut all contact with us said no to him living with us.... what a low blow....

A friend of mine/coworker (who is super brutally honest) told me, "Girl, I'll give you 6 months after your baby to lose the weight. After that, I'm gonna have to blast you like I do these other muffin tops around the office."

I'm super nervous about getting pregnant and gaining too much weight 😑
