Birth control help?

So I am 20 year old college student with a boyfriend and we are NOT TTC. I have been off of my birth control for about a year because I was sexually inactive. My boyfriend and I just started having sex this past weekend (using condoms). My question is: which form of birth control worked the best FOR YOU. Could you comment and conside these points: ease of use, side effects, effectiveness and cost! Thank you in advance.

Easy to use. The only side effects I had are being more "wet" than usual which is not a bad thing and my minor break outs cleared up also not bad! With my insurance I paid $15 the first month and nothing on refills!

·You don't have to remember to take it every day
·Easy to put in and take out
·You can stop whenever you want
·Hardly noticeable during sex, I only felt it in doggy style and it didn't make the sex any less pleasurable and my so could always feel it and also didn't think it made sex any less pleasurable
·You can take it out for up to 3 hours day so if it bugs you during sex you can take it out

Cons
·I experienced mild back pain with it in, I'm not sure if I would feel the back pain other wise or if I was putting it in wrong but if I took it out for 5 or so min it felt better
·I worried about it sliding up too far but apparently it can't go too far
·Mild head aches on and off again not sure if this was a side effect or if I just started having more frequent head aches

I use the patch. I've used it for about 4 months and its worked great for me. 7 days one patch then take it off and put a new one on for 3 weeks the 4th week you should have your cycle. Haven't been late once or had a pregnancy scare. Not expensive either.
