Tbh ladies: When do you think is the right age to sit down your child and talk about sex?

My official conversation about the 🐥& 🐝 was when I was thirteen.

I would give my future child(s) the talk at thirteen too. I feel in the world we are living in today you can not keep your kids too naive on certain topics. That is just my opinion not trying to offend anyone. 😊

I'd answer any questions they have no matter the age. I come from a family where scientific discussions about sperm happen over dinner.

My nephew who is 10 asked to have the talk. He had looked up on google how babies are born and told his mom he wanted to know if Google was right.

The earlier the better I'd say, maybe when she gets her first period or boyfriend.. So many friends of mine fell pregnant at young ages because their parents never had "the talk" with them

My mum started talking to me when I was 2-ish.  
Start the talk as soon as they know the basic idea of boys and girls, "penis" and "vagina."  Keep it age appropriate but always keep the dialogue open so that anytime they have a question, they feel comfortable approaching you.

Before they go to middle school. Sex edu was a shock to me in 6th grade. I wish I went in with info.

I'd say even younger. I was 9 and got my period the month after I turned 11 so I'm thankful I already knew how my body and other things worked or I would've panicked!!

I'm 16 and my mum has never given me the talk and I don't feel like I can ask her anything because of it. I wish she had because I only know everything from the internet/tv/friends etc. Definitely think around 12/13 would be a good time in this society considering the Internet and things. Though if they say they don't want to talk about it then give them the choice of when they want the talk. May be best to tell them that whenever they're comfortable then they can come to you and ask😊

I am 22. When I was in Kindergarden, a girl in my class already knew about sex and called it "making love" I never knew what it meant and never thought about it but the phrase stuck with me. It wasn't until I was in 3rd grade that this topic was widely already known by most of my classmates (the main concept but not any details of course). I'd rather they learn it from me than from kids their own age that really know nothing. I think once I know they can understand complex ideas I would want to let my future kid know about it.
