baby shower issues

my girlfriend is throwing my baby shower. i told her no i dont want one, she convinced me otherwise. shes 1500 miles away and has literally gone overboard with it. i have no problem helping! i want to buy food and cook it for everyone to enjoy when i get up there. but no, she is assigning GUESTS to bring food... Like what? no. they are guests. they are bringing gifts and thats enough for them. not to mention her main food was a lunch meat platter... I CANT HAVE THAT ANYMORE!! my doctor actually told me no. because i got sick and we thought it was that and the sodium content was causing issues.

i just want meatballs and mac n cheese casserole and im not allowed to have a say 😭
