5K Run Advice
Hey ladies, I was hoping to get an opinion on what I should do about a 5K fun run this weekend. I just got my BFP yesterday so it's still early days and I can't get in to see my doctor for another two weeks. I haven't been on an actual run in about a month because my running shoes fell apart and I had to order new ones, but I've been keeping moderately active with other things - swimming/hiking/walking the dog. Do you think it's ok to run in the fun run this weekend even though it's more running than I've done in a while? If it helps, I've been a runner for a couple of years and I've run 5k - half-marathons. My last big run was in June and I've mostly done short little runs less than 5k since then because it was really hot this summer. Can I get your opinions please?
