Rice cereal in milk..what age?

At which age did you guys start giving your baby rice cereal in there milk? My baby is very fussy from 7pm to 11pm and wants to eat every hour and someone said to give them that in there milk and it will help fill them up and that's what they did with there child and it worked. Side note I'm a ftm and my baby is 3 weeks and 1 day now.

I won't give my baby anything but milk until she's 6 months. Anything before that can screw up their digestive systems

The fussiness and the cluster feeding are normal for such a young baby. I wouldn't give any cereal especially rice cereal till 6 months.

Your baby is trying to increase your supply! Nurse in demand and eventually it will even out and your LO won't have to nurse so often. 3-4 weeks is also growth spurt time so just keep on nursing, mama!

Rice cereal has hardly any nutritional value and there have been studies that have shown high levels of arsenic in baby rice cereal. I'm not going to give that to my dd.

I was told cereal can be started at 4 months, and with a baby so young, you should feed when they are hungry... They are growing

My doctor said that at 3-4 weeks you can give them oatmeal cereal and it won't affect them as much as rice. We gave him a little more at night and when we did he started sleeping through the night. He's now 2 months old sleeping from 10pm to about 6-7am. We just feed him more throughout the day.

Out pedi stated we would start introducing rice cereal and foods at 4 months old which is also what we did with our son.

Ask ur dr. My peds dr said I could do it at 2 months but every dr is different.
