Online relationship?!?

Question

Do I have meet this guy for the first time that we hang out for lil bit and I was asking him if he is single and he said yes he is but then when I look him up online there is a picture of him and a girl and on that girl profile she said that she in a relationship with this guy.so I don't knw if this guy is lying or what?!?

99% sure he's lying, it happens sometimes with online dating. I met a guy and he told me his wife died so he was a single dad...... I looked him up on Facebook and his wife apparently came back to life.
