Please don't judge

So I'm going to make this short. A few years ago I had a miscarriage. I've been dealing with it since it happened. I kinda feel like it was my fault n I kinda want a baby. My now boyfriend thinks that I'm pregnant. But I don't know I've spotting n have been very nauseous n sensitive to smells. I made a appointment for tomorrow but he thinks it might be to early to test it. But my question is can my symptoms show earlier and is it to early to test.
