Is it normal to give a guy a hickey?

My bf gives me hickeys quite often and he's never had one from me or any girl but whenever I go to give him one, he says it's weird for guys to get hickeys but I don't think it is? Like is it weird??

I give my boyfriend hickeys CONSTANTLY so I don't think there's anything wrong with it at all. He gets turned on when I suck and bite so if it makes hi happy I don't see why it could be wrong or wierd
