This whole slut/not slut slut shaming thing

Ok so I keep hearing this whole slut shaming thing and how its wrong but there is a such thing as a slut in my opinion and it can be a man or a women. Ok so here's the thing lots of people call a woman a slut cause she has multiple sex partners but that ain't necessarily right but I personally think a man or woman sleeping with everyone they can is kinda gross but if it makes them happy cool then but a person who cheats on someone or if they try or do knowingly sleep with someone who is in a relationship then that makes them a slut whether its a man or woman!!
