Sleeping baby

My LO is a month old. He hardly sleeps in his little side sleeper or bassinet. He constantly cries in it. He only wants to sleep next to me. He falls asleep on me and I try to transfer him to his bed and he will stay asleep for maybe an hour if I'm lucky other times he barely stays for five minutes. Do any moms have any advice ?
