Heartbroken

Last week at 6 weeks I started spotting and went to the dr. They did an ultrasound. They said there was no fetal pole and the gestational sac was irregularly shaped. They drew an hcg level and I had a repeat done on Saturday. If it doubled the baby was fine. They called me Monday and said it hadn't doubled. I went in yesterday for a repeat ultrasound and there was nothing there. It's just gone. I have to have a d&c Monday to get out what's left. I never thought it would happen to me. This was my first pregnancy.
