Can someone help?!

My doctor called me today while I was out grocery shopping with my husband and tells me that my son has a increased chance of having down syndrome when he is born.  Has anyone ever have their doc tell you this and everything was fine?

More often than not, you'll get false positives. Yesterday, my doctor warned me of the same thing. He told me not to freak out of my results were unfavorable. A lot of ladies on here have received false positives. It's natural to freak out, but everything could be great. They'll probably do a few more tests to verify the results.

Yes, we were given odd of 1 in 4 for downs syndrome based on my blood and nucal measurements. We had Harmony test and further detailed scans and our baby is fine. It's scary to be told there is a chance but remember it's just a risk factor. Have further tests to find out for sure. Good luck xx

So many people have been told that and it turned out not to be true. My friends doctor pushed for an abortion   she found another one . Her son didn't have  it at all. But it wouldn't of matter because every life is worse living. My cousins daughter  has downs . She is the sweetest happiest child I know. She loves everyone ! Is amazing with animals !

Yes. My first son had a 1 in 73 chance of downs. My second had a 250 in 500 chance. Both are perfect and very smart.

They are doing a more detailed ultrasound and that's what I thought. But I still cried when he told me but I calmed myself down.
