How did you feel before labor?

How did you feel before labor? The days before and day of? What were some of your signs? I know everyone is different but I'd love to hear everyone's story!

I had no signs. I woke up at 4:30 am to pee, lost part of my mucus plug, thought "cool!" Went back to bed...20 minutes later my son karate chopped me and broke his water.

Two days before (36 and 4) I felt awesome for the first time in months. Cleaned the house, set up baby's co-sleeper. Next day back to exhausted, but restless. The next day I had three big BMs in the morning, which was unusual because I had been extremely constipated all pregnancy. I was sitting on the couch watching Bones and having lunch when out of nowhere my water broke. Starting having strong contractions an hour later and she was out just after midnight, exactly 37 weeks.

No obvious signs of labor before hand. I was a centimeter dialated at my 36 week check. No loss of mucus plug or strong contractions, just zero to baby in ten hours.

At 37 weeks I lost my mucus plug at 6 am on 9/6 and exactly 12 hours later my water broke at 6 pm. Went to the hospital and was only 1 cm dilated so needed pitocin to help me progress.

I watched hours & hours of a baby story, read every pregnancy book I could get my hands on & asked my doc a million questions but nothing prepared me for the uncontrollable shaking that my body did when I started to go into labor. That's the only thing that actually made me go to the hospital so in a way I'm thankful. I had contractions all day but nothing too unbearable so I figured they were Braxton Hicks. Then the shaking started. It was like when you shiver in the cold. My teeth were chattering & everything. Got the ER & I was 3cm dilated!

I tried to go to bed around 1am on the 10th, but kept getting this sharp pinching sensation as soon as I would start dosing off. It wasn't sharp enough for me to be like "OMG the baby's coming", but enough where I was wrong in thinking I could re-adjust myself and sleep through it. We went to the hospital around 2 pm, and were sent home as I was only 4cm dilated. Went back around 10pm, and they said I hadn't progressed enough to induce(or get the epidural), so they said they would admit me and gave me morphine for the pain. But they had to stick me like 5 times before they could get the IV in, and being a pun cushion must have done something for my contractions, because they checked mye again just before midnight and I had made it to 6cm. Got my epidural,  then some benadryl cause the epi made me super itchy. I then slept from 6 to 10cm when the nurse came in saying it was time to start pushing. Pushed for about 25 minutes and had my sweet baby girl at 4:51am on the 11th.

I had Braxton hicks for weeks then I woke up early day after my due date to pee only to discover my water had broke while I slept. My contractions were already at 5 minutes apart at that point. Got to the hospital and a secondary water bag broke while we were waiting to get to a room. Baby was born 2 hours later
