Bring extra clothes- depending on how the labor goes you might be there longer than you think. And yes, Chapstick! My lips got so dry and cracked from breathing and pushing. Slippers.

One thing I found that was really helpful, was chapstick! My lips got so dry. Also, you might be able to bring your own tylenol, instead of using theirs and they charge you for it.

Personally in my hospital bag I just put clothing for the baby to come home and for me- everything else was given. Oh a comfy pair of sleepers I did take- they were great to have. For the baby- but every baby is different- swadlers, pacifiers, first aid baby kit ( it has everything from the nail clip to medicine, great present from babies r us that one of my friend brought me) diapers many many diapers and wipes and personally I used the wiper warmer bc my son couldn't stand the cold wiper- the cries could be heard next door lol without the warmer

The Huge Purple always brand pads and huge grandma panties( for comfort). You'll bleed a lot for a while after birth.
