To buy a change table??

I would spring for the nice dresser top change table with drawers that you can use for clothes after baby is toilet trained. I bought a straight up change table and wasn't happy with the quality or the usefulness. I gave it away even though we are expecting again. I think they are worth it if the time does double duty.

I bought a dresser from Costco that had a removable changing thingy on top. Really nice looking pice of funiture by Cafe Kid. it will last her a long time ☺️ hopefully.

I purchased one with my first. I did use it for her diaper changes, however, once she got too big it was a useless piece of furniture. So this time I am placing the changing table pad on the dresser and using that instead. Now I won't have any unnecessary furniture to deal with down the road.

I bought one because I found a used one for $12. And because I will honestly use it more often than not. Given our living situation, all we have is a bedroom. We are currently living with my in laws. And they have a lot of dogs, so there is hair everywhere. Me and my husband have two dogs as well. But they are the only dogs allowed in our room. So there isn't as much hair. And we vacuum regularly. But idk I feel a little better doing it on the changing table. But it's better body mechanics, I have a bad back. So getting up and down from the floor will be harder on me. I don't mind doing it sometimes though. I also don't mind doing it on our bed. Wether on the floor or the bed id obviously put a blanket down, or I could just move the changing pad itself where I need it. But for us, I felt a table was a good investment. And only $12. We are having twins so we will have to be changing double the amount of diapers. I just don't want us to ruin our backs

Useful but not necessary. As long as you have a dresser to store all the stuff. After 6 months (maybe earlier) I've always used the floor to change my son.

Love ours. We've used it from day one and still everyday we use it. Baby #3 is due and in May and we will get double use out of it so it's already paid for itself. I think it just depends on the person :)
