MC at 6+4

Terra • After 5 years of trying and 2 miscarriages we finally have our little rainbow Evilyn born 10/07/19

Well on Wed Oct 7th we were 6 weeks along. I had noticed that my symptoms weren't as noticeable anymore. Then when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was brown discharge. I read that that could be normal but my red flags were flying as this is our first child. As the days progressed on Friday we decided to go to the doctor because the blood was brown on the TP and getting heavier. The doctor checked my hcg and it was only 137 which was way too low to be 6 weeks along. He told me to come in on Tues to have my levels checked again because that could have meant I wasn't as far along as we thought. But if it didn't double or go up that meant I would be having an early miscarriage. My husband was hopeful that we were just early but I knew. I could tell by their faces and how they talked to me that my baby wouldn't make it. Saturday morning came and I started bleeding with clots and cramps. I came out of the bathroom and told my husband I was sure we just lost the baby. He was still optimistic that I was ok. Hours passed and the clots got bigger and the blood got brighter. I knew. I knew the baby was gone. We cried for a little bit on the couch together but we talked it over and know that we will try again. When it's the right time we will have our perfect baby. We got pregnant about a week after I got off BC so I don't think my body was quite ready yet.

We had a natural MC but are heading to the ER today to confirm. My husband has to leave for a month so we are going to use that time to get my body back to normal before we try again. We just have to keep positive.
