SMEP buddies?

Question

Hi all- we are going to try the "Sperm meets egg plan" this month if others want to try too!  Here are the rules: Day 8- start having sex every other day.  Day 10- start taking OPKs.  Once you get a positive, have sex 3 days in a row.  Skip a day, then try one more time.  Supposed to maximize your chances of the sperm and egg meeting up.

My AF is due 11/5, 29 day cycles.  Currently day 6 so day 8 will be Wed 10/14.

Me and DH are also trying out "smep" this cycle. Got a positive OPK yesterday (cd12), we were totally at it, plus loads of PreSeed to help the chance along 😄. Have to repeat today and tomorrow...

We tried for 4 months but hasn't worked! Going to do day of positive opk and day after,  much less stressful xx

I tried the SMEP plan this month. I've got my fingers crossed, only 2 DPO.

I think it's funny that this is called "sperm meets egg plan". Isn't that called trying to get pregnant? Sperm kinda HAS TO meet egg for that to happen. Just kinda funny.

I found it a lot of hard work and to frantic and rushed, especially as a couple to cope with after 3 mths of trying this😅 Sticking to the OPK now, see if that works instead. After 2 yrs you'll try anything 😁😊
